Ellen Delahanty

Ellen Delahanty received her Master of Music in Recorder Performance
from the Mannes College of Music in New York. She furthered her recorder studies
in Europe at the conservatories of Utrecht, and Antwerp, graduating with honors
from the Lemmensinstitute in Leuven, Belgium. She has studied voice with Jessica Cash (GB).
Next to singing Baroque and Renaissance literature in the ensemble Sospiri
Ardenti (www.sospiri.com),
she focuses on the interpretation of Medieval music. As a soloist
she regularly performs at different early music festivals in Europe and America.
Willem
Mook

Willem Mook (Haarlem, the Netherlands) studied lute with Toyohiko Satoh at
the Royal Conservatory at The Hague, and with Anthony Bailes at the Sweelinck
Conservatory in Amsterdam where he received his diploma in 1983. He specialized
further in masterclasses by Eugen Dombois, Hopkinson Smith and Paul O’Dette,
among others. In addition he studied musicology at the University of Utrecht.
He performs regularly as a soloist, and appears as accompanist in successful
duos with singer Paulien van der Werff and word-artist Peter Adema. Willem Mook
has an extensive lute-teaching practice in Haarlem in Zutphen.
